Dr. Reyes received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Centro America in San Jose, Costa Rica. He trained in pediatrics at The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and Orlando Regional Medical Center. He received his training in pediatric cardiology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC and The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He previously worked as a staff cardiologist in Virginia. His current academic appointment is as Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Vermont College of Medicine. His interests include fetal echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and cardiac intensive care.
Dr. Reyes is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Heart Association's Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society. He is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology.
